- Strutop JS3 is ideal for sealing and waterproofing joints or cracks in concrete masonry or asphalt surfaces, both horizontal and vertical.
- Strutop JS3 is not suitable for contact with solvents or jet fuel.
- Strutop JS3 can also be used for roof flashing, counter flashing and roof tile joints.

Instructions for use
Preparation: All surfaces should be dry and free from contamination such as oil, grease, loose particles, decayed matter, moss, algal growth, laitance and all traces of mould release oils and curing compounds. This is best achieved by lightly sand-blasting the surface. Where moss, algae or similar growths have occurred, treatment with a proprietary biocide should be carried out after the sand-blasting process.
Application
Strutop JS3 is applied by trowel, putty knife or standard sealant gun or pressure equipment. The sealant should be applied flush with the surface.
Mixing
Strutop JS3 is generally too thick to be used directly from the container at normal temperatures. Stand the container in very hot water until the compound has softened sufficiently to work by hand. Do not immerse the container completely nor allow water into the compound. Never apply direct heat to the compound.

Packaging & Storage
- Strutop JS3 is available in 8 and 18 kg pails.
- Minimum shelf life of 12 months when stored in the original unopened pails under normal warehouse conditions.
Health and safety
Strutop JS3 does not fall into the hazard classifications of current regulations. However, it should not be swallowed or allowed to come into contact with skin and eyes. Suitable protective gloves and goggles should be worn. Splashes on the skin should be removed with water. In case of contact with eyes rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. If swallowed seek medical attention immediately - do not induce vomiting.
Fire
Strutop JS3 is flammable when wet.
