Instructions for use

  • Preparation: All tiles must be securely fixed in place and thoroughly cleaned before Strutile GR110 Grout is applied. The gap between tiles should not exceed 8 mm.
  • Mixing: Strutile GR110 should be mixed mechanically with a Heavy Duty, slow speed drill or a forced action mixer fitted. Measure 25 to 30% of the weight of the grout, clean water into the mixing vessel, add the powder component to the mix and continue mixing for 2 to 3 minutes until a uniform, lump-free consistency is achieved. Allow to stand for 5 minutes prior to use.
  • Application: Apply Strutile GR110 Grout to the spaces between the tiles using a sponge or a small piece of soft cloth. Work the mixture into the joints and around the edges. Remove surplus material from the face of the tiles with a dry cloth and run the tip of a gloved finger or suitable rounded tool along the grout to level it off and form a profile. When the grout is dry, clean the tiles with a damp sponge to remove any excess material. It is advisable to remove uncured grout from textured tiles prior to setting, failure to do so may result in difficulty in removal.
  • Cleaning: Strutile GR110 Grout should be removed from tools, equipment and mixers with clean water immediately after use. Cured material can only be removed mechanically.

Packaging & Storage

  • Packaging: Strutile GR110 is available in 1, 5, 20 kg bags.
