Instructions for use
- Compatibility: Strumin SL is compatible with other STRUMIX admixtures used in the same concrete mix.
- Dispensing: The correct quantity of Strumin SL should be measured by means of a suitably accurate device and then added to the concrete during the mixing process either by hand, or mechanically.
- Curing: Good curing practice should be maintained, particularly in situations where an overdose has occurred.
Typical dosage
Strumin SL silica fume admixture is recommended for use in concrete and wet shotcrete applications at an addition dosage of 2-12% by mass of cement.
Packaging & Storage
Strumin SL is available in 20 kg pails or 200 kg barrels. It has a minimum shelf life of 6 months at 35°C if kept in a dry store in the original, unopened packs.
Health and safety
Strumin SL is alkaline and should not come into contact with skin and eyes. Avoid inhalation of dust during mixing. Gloves, goggles, and dust masks should be worn.
Fire
Strumin SL is non-flammable.
